Description

The Ushuaia is a 1330mm diameter ceiling fan light combining a wood-effect outer rim with a white central diffuser, housing an integrated 65W LED panel and a DC motor-driven three-blade fan. The LED output is tuneable between 2700K warm white and 5000K daylight white across 2400 lumens, with dimming and colour temperature control via the supplied infrared remote or the companion mobile app. The DC motor runs quieter than AC equivalents and draws less power, making the Ushuaia suitable for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices where fan noise and energy consumption matter.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m and floor areas of 15-25m², the Ushuaia provides both ambient lighting and air circulation from a single ceiling point. The 280mm overall height includes the motor housing, blade assembly and diffuser — low enough to suit most modern UK residential ceilings without excessive drop. The three blades are shaped to push air downwards in summer mode and can reverse to pull air upwards in winter, helping redistribute warm air trapped near the ceiling. Installation requires a standard UK ceiling rose capable of supporting the 4.5kg weight, plus access to mains 220-240V power. The remote control stores last-used settings and the app adds timer and schedule functions.

The wood-effect finish on the outer rim uses a printed polymer layer over the metal blade structure, offering the visual warmth of timber without the weight or maintenance requirements of real wood. The white diffuser is an opal acrylic panel that spreads the 120° beam angle LED output evenly across the room, minimising glare and hotspots. The combined brown and white palette pairs well with Scandinavian, mid-century and contemporary interiors that mix natural and neutral tones. The 5-year manufacturer warranty from Mantra covers the LED driver, motor and remote receiver.

Yes. The Ushuaia supports reversible operation. In summer mode the blades push air downwards for cooling. In winter mode the rotation reverses to pull air upwards, redistributing warm air trapped near the ceiling without creating a draught. The direction is controlled via the remote or app.

What room size does it suit?

The 1330mm diameter is designed for rooms between 15-25m² floor area, which typically equates to bedrooms, living rooms or home offices measuring 4m x 4m to 5m x 5m. Larger rooms may benefit from two fans or a larger diameter model.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The integrated LED panel is tuneable between 2700K warm white and 5000K daylight white. Use the remote control or mobile app to shift the colour temperature in real time. This allows warmer tones for evenings and cooler daylight tones for daytime working.

Is the app control compatible with smart home systems?
