Description

The Urban Renewal is a single-light wall bracket with a vertical cage frame in dark antique brass finish, designed to showcase an Edison-style bulb within the open metalwork. The light mounts on a circular backplate 140mm in diameter, with the cage extending 197mm from the wall and reaching 311mm in height. An E27 socket inside the cage accepts standard screw-fitting bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for hallways, feature walls in living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality interiors where visible-filament bulbs form part of the aesthetic, the cage frame references early 1900s utility lighting without reproducing period forms directly. The wall bracket can be mounted vertically as shown or rotated horizontally depending on wall height and the desired light distribution. The dark antique brass finish carries brushed texture with deeper patina tones in the recesses of the metalwork.

The cage is formed from metal bars that run vertically with two horizontal bands at top and bottom, creating an open structure that allows the bulb to be seen from multiple angles while protecting the glass. The backplate is stepped with concentric rings around the fixing holes, giving it dimensional depth rather than sitting flat against the wall. Pairing this bracket with a 2200K-2700K warm LED filament bulb or a carbon-filament replica produces the amber glow typical of industrial interiors.

What bulb does it take?

The Urban Renewal takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. For the intended industrial aesthetic, pair with a visible-filament LED in 2200K-2700K or a carbon-filament replica bulb.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

Yes. The bracket can be rotated 90 degrees and mounted horizontally if that suits your wall layout or desired light direction. The cage will still protect the bulb in either orientation.

What's the projection from the wall?

The cage extends 197mm from the wall surface to the front edge of the frame. In narrow hallways under 900mm wide this may intrude into the walking path, so measure your space before fitting.

Is the dark antique brass a solid coating?

The finish is applied over metal and carries a brushed surface texture with darker patina tones in the recesses of the metalwork. Over time and with handling the raised surfaces may lighten slightly, which is typical of antique brass finishes.
