Description

The Mantra Urban is a 385mm square flush LED ceiling light with a black powder-coated frame and a geometric grid diffuser that breaks the light plane into a tessellated pattern. An integrated 56W LED panel inside delivers 4000 lumens through the grid at a tuneable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight white, controlled via a handheld remote.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-3.0m where a low-profile fitting is needed, the Urban sits 86mm below the ceiling line and suits living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and kitchen-diners needing ambient light and task light flexibility from a single source. The remote allows stepless dimming and colour temperature adjustment without a wall switch, so the same fitting can provide warm 2700K light for evening relaxation and bright 5000K light for daytime work or reading.

The grid diffuser is formed from intersecting black metal slats set approximately 20mm apart, visible as a geometric pattern when the light is off and as a structured glow when lit. The 140-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across a 12-15m² floor area, avoiding the hot-spot or halo effect common in cheaper flush fittings. The black finish pairs with industrial, monochrome and contemporary interiors where metal, concrete and darker tones dominate the palette.

The fitting weighs 1.7kg and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose with three fixing points on the backplate.
