Description

This is high bay lighting in a compact round form: a broad black body throwing a wide flood of 4000K cool white light from an integrated LED drawing 200W. Output is serious, at 28,000 lumens, which is enough to cover a tall space from a single position rather than a long run of smaller fittings. The spread is generous rather than tight, so light lands across a floor evenly instead of pooling in bright circles. There is no dimming, so it runs at full output whenever the circuit is live.

We reach for this where ceilings are high and the work underneath has to be seen properly: workshops and garages, storage buildings, plant rooms, packing areas, gyms and sports halls, agricultural barns and trade counters. The cool white tone keeps colours and markings crisp and stops a big space feeling yellow, which is why it suits practical rooms far better than a sitting room. It is also a sensible choice if you are taking out older discharge fittings and want fewer units doing more work, since one unit covers ground that used to need several.

The housing and heat sink are finished in black, with the driver supplied as part of the unit, and the whole thing is sealed well enough for damp and dusty rooms. Cleaning matters more here than on a domestic fitting, because grime on the lens costs you light: with the supply isolated and the body cold, take dust off the face with a dry cloth and lift workshop grease with a barely damp one, then let it dry fully before the power goes back on.
