Description

This is a big, flat disc of a fitting in black, built to throw a great deal of light a long way down. The LED sits behind a lens that gathers the output into a fairly tight cone, so most of it lands where you aim it rather than washing the walls. It draws 200W and runs at 4000K, a cool white that keeps colours honest and edges crisp. There is no dimming; it is a straight on and off fitting, and the driver is built in.

We stock it for spaces where the ceiling is high and the floor is busy: workshops, unit and garage bays, storage buildings, packing areas and sports halls. At around 30cm across it covers a wide patch of floor from height, and the narrower beam means fewer units along a run than a wide spread would need. Because it is sealed against dust and water, it holds up in wash bays and other places where the air is never quite clean. It suits anyone swapping out older discharge lamps and wanting the same brightness for far less power.

The finish is black across the body and the front rim, which keeps it quiet against a dark ceiling and hides dust between cleans. Cut the power, let it cool, then brush the dust off the body and wipe the lens with a barely damp cloth; grime on the lens costs more light than anything else. It carries a three year warranty. Nothing needs replacing lamp-side, as the LED and its driver are part of the unit. We also stock the same fitting with wider beam spreads, in a cooler white, and in a smaller diameter, so one building can be lit with a matched set.
