Description

The Maytoni universal ceiling canopy is an 80mm-diameter round metal plate designed to support two pendant lights from a single ceiling point. Two cable exit holes on the face of the canopy allow independent drops for each pendant, with all wiring concealed behind the 20mm-deep plate. The canopy fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box and provides a stable anchor point for pendants up to a combined reasonable load.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and hallway clusters where two pendants need to hang from the same ceiling position, the canopy replaces the visible clutter of individual ceiling roses with a single clean exit point. The 80mm diameter is compact enough to sit unobtrusively on most ceilings while providing enough surface area to cover the back box or plaster patch underneath. The black finish integrates with both black and mixed-finish pendant combinations.

The metal construction is powder-coated in a matt black finish that resists fingerprints during installation and sits flush against the ceiling once tightened. The two exit holes are pre-drilled to accept standard pendant cable, and the canopy includes internal cable grips to prevent strain on the electrical connections inside the ceiling void. The 20mm depth allows enough clearance for folding the cables and making connections without forcing the canopy away from the ceiling surface.
