Description

The Unity single-phase track suspension cable is a ceiling-mount accessory for Maytoni Unity track lighting systems, consisting of a black metal ceiling rose, 200cm of adjustable steel suspension wire, and a track-mounting clamp. The wire allows track to be suspended from ceilings higher than standard flush-mount installation, or from sloped ceilings where the track cannot sit directly against the surface.

Designed for commercial galleries, retail spaces, lofts and residential rooms with ceiling heights above 3m, the suspension cable holds the track at a chosen drop height while the cable itself remains taut under the track's weight. The clamp fixes onto the Unity track profile at any point along its length, and the ceiling rose accepts standard UK ceiling fixings into joists or plasterboard anchors. Once installed, the track hangs level and stable without additional bracing.

The steel wire is pre-threaded through the ceiling rose and can be cut to the required length during installation, or left longer and coiled inside the rose housing if future adjustment is needed. The black powder-coated finish on both the rose and clamp matches the black Unity track profile, keeping the suspension hardware visually consistent with the rest of the system. The 32mm diameter ceiling rose is compact enough to sit flush against most UK ceiling surfaces without requiring a separate back plate.

This suspension cable is designed specifically for Maytoni Unity single-phase track systems. It will not fit other manufacturers' track profiles or Maytoni's three-phase track ranges.

Can the cable length be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The 200cm steel wire can be cut to the required drop height during installation. If left longer than needed, the excess can be coiled inside the ceiling rose housing for future adjustment without needing to re-wire.
