Description

The Unity middle feed connector delivers mains power to a track lighting system at a mid-point rather than at the track end, allowing longer runs and more complex layouts without power drop. The connector plugs into the track rail and connects to incoming mains via its internal terminals, feeding 220-240V AC into the track from the centre outward.

Designed for track lighting installations longer than 2m or configured in L-shaped, T-shaped or parallel runs, the middle feed avoids the need to run power to the furthest end of the track. The white aluminium body integrates with white Unity track rails and ceiling plates, keeping the feed point visually consistent with the rest of the system. The connector is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only and suits residential, retail, gallery and office installations where track layouts exceed simple straight runs.

The connector measures 142mm long by 34mm wide with a 19.5mm profile above the track rail once installed. It clips into the track via the same mechanism as Unity spotlights and other connectors, locking into place without tools. Electrical connection is made via screw terminals inside the body, which accept standard UK mains cable. The aluminium construction provides durability and helps dissipate heat from the live connection.
