Description

The Unity single-phase track end cap is a white plastic component that fits onto the open end of Maytoni Unity surface-mounted track rails. The cap covers the exposed track profile and internal conductor rails, giving the track run a finished appearance and preventing dust from entering the conductive channels.

Designed for use with Unity track lighting systems in residential, retail and hospitality settings, the end cap clips securely onto the track without requiring tools or additional fixings. The white finish matches the standard Unity track profile, creating a continuous appearance across the ceiling plane. The cap measures 38mm long and sits flush with the 23mm track height.

The plastic construction keeps the cap lightweight and non-conductive, so it can be fitted or removed without isolating the track circuit. Each Unity track run requires two end caps—one at each terminus—unless the track joins a corner connector, T-junction or live-end power feed where those components already cap the profile. The end cap does not carry electrical function; it is purely a finishing piece to seal the track aperture.

Frequently Asked

How many end caps are needed per track run?

Each Unity track run requires two end caps, one at each open end. If the track terminates at a corner connector, T-junction or live-end power feed, those components already cap the track profile and no additional end cap is needed at that junction.

Does the end cap need to be fitted before the track is powered?

No. The end cap is non-conductive plastic and carries no electrical function. It can be fitted or removed at any time without isolating the track circuit, though it is generally fitted during initial installation for a cleaner finish.

Is the end cap compatible with other track systems?

The Unity end cap is designed specifically for Maytoni Unity single-phase track. It will not fit other manufacturers' track systems or Maytoni's three-phase track profiles.
