Description

The Unity single-phase track end cap is a 6cm x 3.7cm x 2cm black plastic component that closes exposed ends of Maytoni Unity single-phase track lighting systems. The cap snaps onto the track profile to seal the internal conductor channel from dust, debris and accidental contact with live metal components.

Track lighting systems often terminate at walls, corners or mid-span positions where the track ends but no luminaire is fitted. Leaving these ends open exposes the conductor rails and creates a visual interruption in the track line. The Unity end cap resolves both issues by providing a finished termination point that sits flush with the track profile and matches the system's black finish.

The cap is moulded from impact-resistant plastic with a matt black surface that matches the Unity track range. Installation requires no tools — the cap pushes onto the track end and friction-locks in place. No. This end cap is designed specifically for single-phase track systems in the Maytoni Unity range. Three-phase track has a different profile and conductor configuration, requiring a separate end cap model.

How is the end cap fitted?

The cap pushes onto the open end of the track and friction-locks in place. No screws or tools are needed. Ensure the track is de-energised before fitting the cap.

Can it be removed and refitted?

Yes. The friction-lock mechanism allows the cap to be removed if the track layout is reconfigured or extended later. Pull the cap off the track end to remove it.

Does it seal the track against moisture?

The cap provides basic protection against dust and debris ingress but is not rated as a weatherproof or IP-rated seal. It is designed for indoor dry-location use only.
