Description

The Unity single-phase track connector joins two sections of white track to create a continuous single-phase lighting run. Made from injection-moulded white plastic, the connector measures 8.2cm in length and 3.2cm in width, with a 3cm profile depth that matches standard Maytoni Unity track height. It clips into place at the end of one track segment and accepts the next segment to provide both mechanical join and electrical continuity.

Designed for retail, gallery, showroom and domestic track lighting installations where runs need to extend beyond a single track length or change direction using additional connectors, the Unity connector maintains the white finish of the track system without visible metal or contrasting junction boxes. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor environments only. The connector handles AC 220-240V single-phase power distribution across the joined tracks.

The white finish integrates with white ceilings and minimalist interiors where the track infrastructure is kept visually recessive. The plastic construction keeps the connector lightweight and insulating, preventing accidental contact with live conductors during fixture adjustment. Is this compatible with all single-phase track systems?

This connector is designed for Maytoni Unity single-phase track. Track systems use different profile dimensions and conductor layouts between manufacturers, so compatibility with other brands cannot be guaranteed. Use only with Maytoni Unity track to ensure proper fit and safe electrical connection.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It has no protection against moisture ingress and must not be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor setting.

Does it require tools to install?

No tools are needed. The connector pushes into the track channel and locks with an internal clip. To remove or reposition it, the clip can be released by hand and the connector withdrawn from the track.

How many connectors are needed for a corner join?

This is a straight in-line connector. For 90-degree corners or L-shaped layouts, Maytoni produces separate L-shaped and T-shaped connectors. Check the Unity track system range for corner and junction connectors if your layout requires directional changes.
