Description

The Unity single-phase track connector joins two sections of single-phase track rail to form a continuous run, maintaining electrical continuity across the connection. The black plastic housing measures 82mm long by 32mm wide and 30mm high, with internal contact plates that align with the live, neutral and earth rails within each track section when the connector is slid into place.

Designed for indoor track lighting installations in homes, retail spaces, galleries and offices, the connector allows track systems to be extended beyond a single rail length or reconfigured to change lighting layouts without rewiring. The connector fits Maytoni Unity single-phase track and other compatible single-phase track systems using the same rail profile. Installation involves sliding the connector into the ends of two adjoining track sections until it clicks into position, locking the contact plates against the internal rails.

The black finish matches Maytoni Unity track rails and fittings, creating a cohesive appearance across the ceiling. The plastic construction keeps the connector lightweight at under 50g while the IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. Is this compatible with three-phase track systems?

No. This connector is designed specifically for single-phase track rails. Three-phase systems require a different connector with additional contact points to handle the extra live circuits.

How is it installed?

Slide the connector into the open ends of two adjoining track sections until it clicks firmly into place. The internal contact plates will align automatically with the live, neutral and earth rails inside each track section. No tools are required for installation.

Can it be used to join tracks at angles?

No. This is a straight inline connector for joining two track sections end-to-end. For corner or angled connections, you would need an L-shaped or T-shaped connector from the Unity range.

Will it work with other brands of single-phase track?

The connector fits Maytoni Unity track and may fit other single-phase track systems that use the same rail profile dimensions. Check the cross-section profile of your existing track against the Unity specification before ordering.
