Description

The Unity is a 1m single-phase surface-mounted track in black aluminium, designed to carry compatible track heads on a 220-240V AC single-phase circuit. The track measures 34mm wide and 20mm deep, with internal copper busbars running the full length to provide continuous power connection at any point along the rail.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in residential and commercial interiors, the Unity track allows track heads to be repositioned along its length without re-wiring. This makes it suited to retail spaces where display lighting needs to move with changing layouts, galleries where spotlights are repositioned for rotating exhibitions, and kitchens or home offices where task lighting benefits from adjustable positioning. The 1m length can be installed as a standalone run or joined with additional 1m or 2m Unity sections to create longer continuous tracks.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish provides a neutral backdrop in contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors, allowing the track itself to recede visually while the track heads become the focal point. The IP20 rating limits the track to dry indoor locations — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or other damp environments. Installation requires surface-mounting brackets (typically supplied with the track or sold separately depending on configuration) fixed to ceiling joists or solid wall substrates, with the track then clipped into the bracket channel.
