The Mantra Ull is a 4-light suspension fitting with four frosted glass diffusers hanging from a 280mm square silver grey ceiling plate on individual adjustable cables. Each diffuser houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) behind layered frosted glass panels that step outward from the lamp socket, creating a tiered profile when viewed from below. The cables can be adjusted during installation to hang the diffusers at different heights or keep them level depending on the room layout.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and lounge areas where multiple light points create task lighting without fixed downlights, the Ull provides four individual zones of downward light across a 280mm footprint. The adjustable 1500mm maximum drop works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings when the fittings are set at different heights to create visual layering, or in higher-ceilinged spaces where all four can drop to a consistent level above a worktop or dining surface. The silver grey metal frame and ceiling plate pair with stainless steel appliances, brushed chrome fixtures and cooler-toned interiors.

The frosted glass panels diffuse the G9 bulbs to reduce glare while still providing sufficient downward light for food preparation and dining. With four G9 sockets rated up to 40W each, the fitting accepts LED, halogen or low-energy capsule bulbs to control running costs and colour temperature. The layered glass construction and adjustable hanging configuration give the Ull a more architectural profile than standard pendant clusters, making it function as both task lighting and a focal point above horizontal surfaces.

The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W for energy efficiency, typically in 2700K-3000K warm white for kitchen and dining use.

Can the cables be adjusted to different heights?

Yes. Each of the four diffusers hangs on an individual adjustable cable up to 1500mm long. During installation the cables can be set at different lengths to create a layered composition, or kept at the same length for a level arrangement.

Is the Ull dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Using non-dimmable bulbs with a dimmer will cause flickering or damage to the bulbs.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The 280mm square ceiling plate fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box. With a total weight of 2.8kg the fitting requires a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 5kg to allow for the dynamic load when cables move.
