Description

The Ull is a 1.5m floor lamp with two curved arms extending from a central silver grey metal column, each arm terminating in a frosted glass shade housing a G9 bulb. The curved arms arch outwards and downwards, positioning the two light sources approximately 300mm apart at head height, while the slim rectangular base provides a stable footprint of 300mm x 150mm.

Designed for living rooms, reading corners and home offices where overhead lighting is absent or insufficient, the Ull provides dual-source ambient light without occupying the floor space of a table lamp and side table. The frosted glass shades diffuse the G9 bulbs to reduce glare when the lamp is positioned at typical sofa-back or armchair-side locations. The lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible floor dimmer, allowing brightness to be adjusted between task lighting and background ambient levels.

The silver grey metal frame is powder-coated to a low-sheen finish that sits comfortably in contemporary, transitional and industrial-inspired interiors without the reflective intensity of polished chrome. At 9.5kg the lamp has sufficient weight to remain stable on carpets and hard floors without tipping when the arms are adjusted. The G9 socket accepts halogen or LED G9 capsules up to 40W each (80W combined maximum), with bulbs sold separately. Note that the lamp is not compatible with CFL G9 bulbs due to the heat dissipation characteristics of the frosted glass shades.
