Description

The Twist is a 3-light cluster pendant built around three spiralling matt black metal drops, each housing an integrated LED behind an opal silicone diffuser. The assembly hangs from a 230mm-diameter black ceiling rose on adjustable cables, allowing the drops to be set anywhere between 550mm and 2000mm below the ceiling. The total LED output is 30W at 3000K, distributed across the three drops.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, double-height living spaces and above dining tables in contemporary interiors, the Twist works as both sculptural focal point and functional light source. The spiralling form of each drop creates visual movement without symmetry, so the cluster appears different from different viewing angles. The adjustable cables can be set to staggered heights or aligned to the same drop length depending on the ceiling configuration and the effect wanted. Gravity toggles lock each cable at the chosen height, including on sloped ceilings.

The matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, keeping the focus on the warm glow emitted through the opal diffusers. The silicone diffuser material softens the LED point source into a diffuse 3000K warm white output, avoiding glare when viewed from below. The pendant is dimmable via TRIAC and 0-10V dimmer protocols, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for task lighting to low ambient glow for evening use. The 1.5kg total weight and IP20 rating suit indoor dry-location installation only.

Is the Twist dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is compatible with both TRIAC and 0-10V dimmer protocols. Check that your dimmer supports LED loads and is rated for at least 30W before installation.

Can the drop heights be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each of the three cables has a gravity toggle that locks the cable at the chosen height. The toggles can be released and re-adjusted at any time, allowing the drops to be set to staggered or uniform heights.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 550mm and the maximum is 2000mm. For a dining table the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For stairwells or double-height spaces the full 2000mm drop can be used.

Can it be fitted to a sloped ceiling?

Yes. The gravity toggles lock each cable at the set height regardless of ceiling angle, so the Twist can be installed on sloped ceilings without the drops shifting position over time.
