Description

The Turks is an adjustable LED wall reading light with a cylindrical arm in sand white finish, projecting 115mm from the wall on a rounded backplate. The arm rotates through approximately 180 degrees and tilts on a ball joint, allowing the integrated 3W LED to be directed at a bedside reading position, a desk surface, or up onto a wall for ambient wash lighting. An inline rocker switch on the arm provides on/off control without needing to reach for a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedside installation above bed heads, in reading corners next to armchairs, or as study desk task lighting, the Turks delivers focused directional light from a compact 170mm-tall, 68mm-wide backplate. The 210 lumens output at 3000K warm white is calibrated for close reading and evening tasks without flooding the room with light, making it suitable for shared bedrooms where one person needs task light while the other sleeps. The 30-degree beam angle concentrates the light in a tight pool rather than spreading it widely.

The sand white powder-coated finish provides a neutral off-white tone that sits between pure white and cream, pairing well with both warm and cool-toned wall colours. The arm and backplate are metal construction with a low-sheen surface that resists fingerprints and marks. When not in use the arm folds back against the backplate, reducing projection to under 50mm and keeping the fitting unobtrusive in tight spaces. The integrated LED is rated at 50,000 hours nominal lifespan and is non-replaceable, though at typical use of 3 hours per evening this represents approximately 45 years of service.
