Description
The Turin is a 500mm diameter flush LED ceiling light with an integrated 40W LED module and switchable colour temperature control. The light outputs 4400 lumens through a white acrylic diffuser that sits 40mm below the ceiling, providing even ambient illumination across the room without any visible bulb or lamp housing. A wall switch cycles the colour temperature between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5000K cool white, allowing the light quality to be adjusted without a dimmer.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush would hang too low, the Turin suits bedrooms, hallways, home offices, bathrooms (check IP rating requirements), and open-plan living areas needing functional overhead lighting. The 155-degree beam angle spreads light across a wide area, reducing harsh shadows and making the light suitable for general room illumination rather than task-specific applications. The white finish on the metal trim and diffuser blends into white or light-coloured ceilings.
The 1.2kg weight requires solid ceiling fixing into a joist or plasterboard anchor rated for the load. The CCT switching function operates through the standard wall switch: turn the light off and back on within 2 seconds to cycle to the next colour temperature setting (warm, neutral, cool, then back to warm). The integrated LED is non-replaceable, so the entire fitting is end-of-life when the LED degrades, typically after 25,000-30,000 hours of use at the stated 4400lm output.

Frequently Asked
How do you switch between colour temperatures?
Turn the light off at the wall switch, then turn it back on within 2 seconds. Each cycle changes the colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 4000K neutral white to 5000K cool white, then back to warm. The light remembers the last setting when left on for more than a few seconds.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The Turin uses an integrated LED module that cannot be replaced. The entire fitting is end-of-life when the LED degrades, typically after 25,000-30,000 hours of use.
What room size does this suit?
The 4400lm output and 500mm diameter work well in rooms up to approximately 15-18 square metres, such as bedrooms, home offices, hallways, and medium-sized living rooms. Larger open-plan spaces may benefit from two fittings spaced evenly.
Can it be dimmed?
No. The Turin does not support dimming on 230V mains. The only control available is the CCT switching function that changes colour temperature via the wall switch.
