Description

The Turin is a twin-head lamp post in black die-cast aluminium, carrying two traditional lantern heads on curved arms extending from a central column. Each lantern houses a single E27 bulb behind clear glass panels (bulbs sold separately), and the IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes. The post stands 1850-2750mm tall depending on configuration, with a 610mm arm span across both lantern heads.

Designed for driveways, front gardens, pathways and larger outdoor spaces where twin-source lighting is needed, the Turin provides illumination from two points without requiring separate post installations. The twin configuration allows light to be spread across a wider area than a single-head post, reducing shadows along a pathway or drive. The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion and weathering, and the fitting carries no coastal exclusion zone, so it can be installed in seaside properties without additional treatment.

The die-cast aluminium construction gives the post structural rigidity in exposed positions, and the traditional lantern design with tapered glass panels and pyramid caps suits both period and contemporary property styles. Yes. The Turin carries no coastal exclusion zone and can be installed in seaside properties. The black powder coating provides corrosion resistance in salt-air environments.

The post requires a buried foundation or concrete base to anchor the column securely. Electrical supply runs underground through conduit to the base of the post. Installation should be carried out by a qualified outdoor electrician familiar with IP-rated fittings and buried cable runs.
