The Tube is a 900mm linear suspension light from Mantra, built around a cylindrical glass tube with a sand-diamond interior finish and polished chrome end caps. The integrated 26W LED runs along the core of the tube, delivering 2000 lumens of 4000K cool white light through the textured glass, which diffuses the output evenly along the length of the fitting. The polished chrome accents at each end cap and the ceiling canopy frame the glass tube and reflect light back into the space.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and office desks where directed bright task light is needed, the Tube suspends on adjustable cables that allow the fitting to be set at the required height above the work surface. The 1600mm minimum drop suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with the fitting typically positioned 700-900mm above a kitchen island or desk depending on the ceiling height. The 120° beam angle provides broad downward spread without creating hard shadows directly underneath the fitting.

The sand-diamond finish inside the glass creates a fine crystalline texture that catches and scatters light, softening the LED output while maintaining high lumen delivery for task applications. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight — cooler than the 3000K typical of living room lighting but warmer than the 5000K+ used in clinical or workshop settings. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome end caps or allowing water to enter the fitting.
