The Tube is a 600mm vertical LED flush ceiling light with a cylindrical glass tube encased in polished chrome end caps. The glass features a sand-diamond crystalline treatment that scatters the 21W integrated LED into a soft, shimmering light rather than a hard beam. The 4000K colour temperature sits in the cool white range, providing clear, neutral illumination without the yellow cast of warm white or the clinical blue of daylight.

Designed for hallways, landings, kitchen island approaches and modern living rooms with standard or low ceiling heights, the vertical tube format offers a distinct alternative to round or square flush fittings. The 75mm projection from ceiling to glass keeps the fitting close to the plane of the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with 2.3m ceiling heights where pendants would hang too low. The 1800lm output is comparable to a 150W halogen equivalent, providing sufficient light for a 3-4m hallway or 2.5-3m kitchen approach without needing multiple fittings.

The polished chrome finish on the upper and lower caps reflects ambient room light and creates small highlight points on the metal, reinforcing the vertical geometry of the tube. Is the Tube dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The fitting operates at full 1800lm output when switched on.

The 75mm projection makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upward. The vertical 600mm tube provides visual interest without the drop of a pendant, making it a good choice for low ceilings where pendants would hang too close to head height.

What does 4000K cool white look like?

4000K sits midway between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K-6500K). It produces neutral, clear white light without the yellow warmth of traditional incandescent or the blue-white of clinical daylight. It suits modern interiors and areas where task clarity is needed alongside ambient light.

Can the glass tube be cleaned?

The crystalline sand-diamond treatment is on the inside surface of the glass and cannot be accessed without disassembling the fitting. The outer glass can be wiped with a microfibre cloth when the power is switched off. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the chrome caps or letting liquid run into the end fittings.
