Description

The Truman is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light with a 406mm diameter etched opal glass bowl shade suspended from an antique nickel frame. Three curved arms slope upwards from a cast finial at the base to meet a matching canopy plate at the ceiling, giving the fitting a geometric, almost Art Deco silhouette. Each arm is finished in antique nickel with visible brushing that softens the metallic sheen.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m where a full-drop pendant would hang too low, the Truman sits 305mm below the ceiling rose and provides ambient light through the opal glass diffuser. The etched finish on the glass scatters the light from the three E27 bulbs (sold separately) across the room rather than concentrating it in a single pool, making the fitting suitable for hallways, bedrooms, low-ceilinged living rooms and period properties where a semi-flush profile is required.

The 406mm bowl gives the Truman enough visual presence to anchor a 3m x 3.5m room without dominating the ceiling plane.
