Description

The Triplo is a 2-light wall fitting built around a triple-layered glass diffuser mounted on chrome-plated metal brackets. The outer glass layer is a flat transparent panel, behind which sit two curved acid-frosted glass sheets that overlap and diffuse the light from two E27 bulbs (sold separately). The frosted layers soften the bulb glare and spread the light evenly across the width of the fitting.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where indirect wall lighting is needed, the Triplo sits 380mm proud of the wall and spreads 295mm horizontally. The two-bulb configuration provides enough output for a typical 4-5m wall run when paired with 6-10W LED bulbs, or for washing light across a feature wall or alcove. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas away from direct water exposure.

The chrome fittings hold the three glass layers in place with visible clips at the sides, creating a functional, assembly-visible aesthetic common to Italian modern lighting from Ideal Lux. The white frosted finish on the inner glass layers creates a soft diffusion effect when lit, whilst remaining visually light and neutral when the fitting is switched off during daylight hours. The transparent outer glass layer adds depth and a slight shadow play between the three surfaces.
