Trinity 2m Three-Phase Surface-Mounted Track - White

The Trinity is a 2m three-phase surface-mounted track in white-finished aluminium, designed to carry modular track lighting across three independently controlled circuits. Each of the three internal conductor rails can be wired to a separate lighting circuit, allowing different zones or fixture groups on the same track to be switched or dimmed independently.

Suited to retail spaces, galleries, kitchens, offices and hospitality interiors where lighting needs to be reconfigured over time, the Trinity track accepts compatible three-phase track heads and spotlights that clip into position without tools and can be repositioned along the 2m run. The surface-mounted profile fixes directly to ceilings or beams using the included dowel fixings, with the power inlet positioned at one end of the track to bring mains supply into the first conductor rail.

The white aluminium extrusion measures 36mm high by 33mm wide, sitting flush against the ceiling with a low-profile appearance that works in rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights. The IP20 rating limits the track to dry indoor environments. The three-phase system provides flexibility to add, remove or reposition fixtures as room layouts change without rewiring the ceiling, making it a practical choice for spaces where lighting requirements evolve.

What does three-phase mean in a track lighting system?

Three-phase track contains three separate conductor rails inside the same profile, each carrying a different lighting circuit. This allows fixtures clipped to the track to be assigned to circuit 1, 2 or 3, giving independent switching or dimming control over different groups of lights on the same run.

What fixtures are compatible with this track?

The Trinity accepts track heads and spotlights designed for three-phase track systems with the same connector profile. Maytoni produces a range of compatible track spotlights; fixtures from other manufacturers may also fit if they use the same three-phase standard. Check the connector type before purchasing.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

The aluminium extrusion can be cut with a fine-toothed hacksaw if a shorter length is needed, but cutting voids the warranty and requires careful handling to avoid damaging the internal conductor rails. If precision is needed, consider ordering multiple shorter track sections instead.

How is the track powered?

The included power inlet connects the track to mains supply at one end. A qualified electrician wires the three circuits into the inlet, which then feeds power into the three conductor rails running the length of the track. Additional track sections can be joined using compatible connectors to extend the run.
