Description

The Trinidad is a ceiling fan with a light built into its centre, finished in black with a brass band around the motor housing. It measures 122cm across the blades and stands 32cm tall, with four black blades on a slim downrod and a steel body. Beneath the motor sits a milky acrylic shade over an integrated 19W LED giving 2,300 lumens, so one fitting moves the air and lights the room as well. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry: a living room, bedroom or study, never a bathroom or a covered porch.

This is a fan for a good-sized living room, bedroom or study where you want air moving on a warm evening and a bright light overhead from a single fitting. The black and brass sits happily beside dark joinery, warm timber and pale walls. With a choice of 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, you can pick a warm white for relaxed evenings, a neutral white for everyday living or a crisp, cooler white for reading and desk work. The remote control comes in the box and the fan is controlled by the remote, so you can change between its three speeds from the sofa or the bed.

The body is steel, finished in black with a brass band, and the acrylic shade spreads the LED into an even, milky glow. The fan is reversible, so the blades can turn either way: one direction for a cooling breeze in summer, the other to move warm air gently in cooler months. The light is not dimmable, so each colour setting gives one clear, steady level of light. As a wired mains fitting running on 220-240V, 50Hz, it is installed by a qualified electrician; the installation instructions come as a download. Before you order, measure the room, as it needs clear space around the blades.
