Description

The Trilogy is a 965mm linear island pendant carrying three E27 bulb holders, each enclosed in a seeded glass shade with an olde bronze metal cage frame. The fitting suspends from an oval ceiling plate on two lengths of chain, each adjustable between 644mm and 1864mm drop, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a kitchen island or dining table depending on ceiling height.

Designed for task and ambient lighting over kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables, the Trilogy works in rooms where a single central pendant would leave the ends of the worktop under-lit. The three shades are spaced evenly along the 965mm horizontal bar, providing distributed light across a 2-3m run. The olde bronze finish is a dark, aged metal tone that pairs with farmhouse, industrial and traditional interiors, while the seeded glass adds visual texture without blocking light output.

Each shade measures approximately 254mm deep and houses a single E27 bulb up to 60W (bulbs sold separately). Most users pair the Trilogy with warm-white LED filament bulbs at 6-8W and 2700K to mimic the appearance of early incandescent Edison bulbs, which suit the industrial-inspired cage design. The seeded glass itself is clear with embedded air bubbles, creating a stippled texture that diffuses light softly and reduces glare when looking directly at the bulbs.

The fitting weighs approximately 4kg when complete and requires a ceiling joist or structural fixing point capable of supporting this load. The chain lengths can be shortened during installation by removing links, but cannot be extended beyond the supplied 1219mm per chain. The oval ceiling plate covers a standard UK ceiling rose and conceals the cable entry point.

The glass itself does not affect dimming — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. If you use dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the fitting will dim. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not dim regardless of the switch used.
