Description

The Trilogy is a 305mm flush ceiling light housing two E27 bulbs behind clear seeded glass shades, set within a polished chrome drum frame. The seeded glass texture is formed by air bubbles trapped in the glass during manufacture, creating a stippled surface that softens light throw and adds visual depth to the otherwise clean chrome geometry. The fitting projects 150mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.3-2.5m ceiling heights where pendant lights would sit too low.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens and hallways, the IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, allowing the fitting to be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the shower enclosure and bath tub area). The flush mount fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose and the chrome canopy covers the wiring connection. Pair with warm-white E27 LED filament bulbs (sold separately) for a vintage-inspired look, or standard E27 LED bulbs for higher lumen output.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light around the room and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and door furniture common in bathroom and kitchen installations. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose between lower-wattage decorative filament bulbs or brighter task-oriented LED bulbs depending on the room's lighting needs. Is the Trilogy suitable for bathroom installation?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. Do not install directly above a bath or shower enclosure (zone 1) without confirming IPX4 or higher rating for that specific zone.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a vintage look, or standard E27 LED bulbs at 9-12W for brighter task lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb choice. Use dimmable E27 LED bulbs paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming.

What is seeded glass?
