Description

The Triangle is a 22cm single-light glass pendant from Mantra with a white tapered shade and polished chrome ceiling canopy. The shade forms a softly contoured triangular profile that tapers from a 220mm base diameter to a narrower top, with the single E27 bulb fitting mounted inside the upper section. The gloss white glass diffuses light downwards and outwards through the shade walls, creating ambient room light rather than direct task lighting.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, entrance halls and bedside pendant positions, the Triangle works as a single fitting over smaller surfaces or in multiples spaced along a longer island or dining run. The drop is adjustable between 320mm minimum and 1500mm maximum on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or dining table depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable is concealed within the suspension flex.

The white glass shade is smooth on both internal and external surfaces, with no visible texture or pattern, giving a clean finish that pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned contemporary interiors. The polished chrome canopy provides a metallic accent that catches light and adds visual weight to the ceiling mount. At 1.2kg, the pendant has enough presence to anchor a position above a table or island without appearing oversized in rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights.

The fitting accepts any standard E27 bulb up to the maximum wattage specified (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch. Most users fit a 6-10W warm-white LED (2700-3000K) for ambient dining or kitchen task lighting.
