Trevano Travertine Dome Pendant Light - Walnut & Light Beige

The Trevano is a 250mm dome pendant light built from three distinct materials: a wide travertine shade in light beige, a turned walnut wood sphere above it, and a frosted glass globe that hangs just below the rim of the stone. A single G9 lamp sits inside the glass diffuser. The pendant measures 140mm in height across the shade and wood section, with the suspension cord wrapped in matching walnut-brown braided fabric.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallway runs, the Trevano works well hung in a row of two or three above a longer worktop, or as a single fitting over a smaller round table. The compact 250mm diameter keeps the shade in proportion with smaller ceiling heights from around 2.3m, and the cord drop can be shortened on installation to set the glass globe at the desired height above a surface.

Each travertine dome is cut from natural stone, so the surface carries visible pores, organic markings and subtle tonal shifts that vary between pieces. The unsealed matte finish gives the shade a tactile, grounded weight that contrasts with the smooth turned walnut sphere and the glossy frosted glass. The travertine partially shields the G9 lamp, directing light downward through the glass globe while allowing a softer halo to spill around the edge of the dome.

What bulb does the Trevano take?

The pendant takes a single G9 capsule lamp, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with a 3-4W LED G9 in 2700K-3000K warm white to match the warm walnut and beige tones of the fitting.

Does the travertine vary between pendants?

Yes. The dome is cut from natural travertine, so each shade has its own pattern of pores, surface markings and tonal variation. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and means no two Trevano pendants look identical.

Can it be used over a kitchen island or dining table?

Yes. The 250mm diameter and 140mm shade height make the Trevano well suited to hanging in a row of two or three over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or as a single pendant over a smaller round dining table. The cord drop is adjustable on installation.

How is the travertine cleaned?

Travertine is porous, so wipe the dome with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can stain the unsealed surface. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately.
