Description

The Tree is a five-light branch chandelier built around a gold-finished metal frame that extends 150cm across, with five asymmetric arms terminating in dimpled amber glass globes. Each arm holds an E27 lamp socket (bulbs sold separately), and the whole fitting hangs from a single central drop rod fixed to a circular ceiling plate. Total height from ceiling to lowest globe is 42cm.

The horizontal spread suits long dining tables, kitchen islands of 150cm or more, and open-plan rooms where a round chandelier would feel undersized. Hung 700-800mm above a dining surface, the five amber globes throw pools of warm light along the length of the table rather than concentrating it at one point. The asymmetric arm angles mean the fixture reads differently from every viewing angle, with no single 'front'.

The amber glass globes are mouth-blown with an irregular dimpled surface, so each shade has a slightly different profile and the light pattern through the glass varies between bulbs. Paired with warm-white filament E27 lamps, the amber tint pushes the colour temperature down towards a candlelit feel. The brushed gold metalwork keeps reflections soft and pairs with both warm timber interiors and cooler grey or off-white schemes.

What bulbs does it take?

The Tree takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Globe or GLS filament bulbs in warm white (2200K-2700K) work best with the amber glass, the combination gives a candlelit feel rather than a bright task light.

How big a table or island does it suit?

At 150cm wide the Tree is designed for long dining tables, kitchen islands of 150cm or longer, and open-plan rooms. On a square or round table it will overhang the edges, which is a styling choice rather than a fault, but for tables under 120cm a smaller fitting is usually a better fit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting drops 42cm from the ceiling plate to the lowest globe. Over a dining table at standard 75cm height, this works comfortably in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or higher. The single drop rod is a fixed length, so very low ceilings may not suit this model.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted and the dimmer used. With dimmable E27 LED filament lamps and a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, the Tree can be dimmed to suit dining or evening use. Confirm bulb and dimmer compatibility before installation.
