Description

The Trame is a 26cm geometric LED wall light with an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K warm white. The fitting consists of overlapping rectangular metal panels finished in white powder-coat, arranged at angles that create a layered sculptural effect. Light escapes from the gaps between the panels, casting soft shadows and geometric patterns onto the wall surface behind and around the fitting.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room accent walls and commercial reception areas where architectural detail matters, the Trame works in spaces with neutral or light-toned walls where the shadow play can register. The 12.5cm height and 5.5cm projection from the wall give the fitting a low-profile presence suitable for narrower corridors and staircases where a traditional shade or arm might project too far. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement or maintenance beyond occasional dusting.

The white finish on the metal panels provides a clean backdrop that recedes into white or off-white walls, leaving the geometric form and light pattern as the main visual feature. Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Trame is rated for dry indoor environments only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or any location where moisture or water splashes are present. For bathroom wall lighting, look for fittings with an IP44 or IP65 rating.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. Maytoni rates the LED lifespan at approximately 25,000 hours, which translates to around 10 years of typical residential use at 6-7 hours per day. When the LED reaches end-of-life, the entire fitting would need replacing.

What wall colour works best with this fitting?

The geometric shadow patterns created by the overlapping panels show most clearly on white, off-white or pale grey walls. On darker walls the light still functions but the visual effect of the angled panels is less pronounced.

How is it mounted?
