Description

The Trame is a 24cm geometric wall light with an integrated 3W 3000K LED set inside a matt black metal frame. The frame is constructed from three flat triangular planes folding into a three-dimensional star shape that projects 7.5cm from the wall, creating depth and shadow variation as the LED light washes across the angled surfaces.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, living room accent walls and bedroom reading positions, the Trame works as a single unit on a feature wall or in a repeating pattern spaced along a corridor. The 3000K colour temperature gives warm white light that suits residential interiors. At 3W output, the fitting provides ambient wash lighting rather than task brightness, so it functions best as secondary or decorative lighting alongside ceiling fixtures or other wall lights.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the emphasis on the geometric form and the shadow patterns it casts on the wall behind. Each of the three triangular planes catches light differently depending on viewing angle, so the fitting appears to shift form as you move past it. The compact 20.5cm height and 24cm width suit typical UK hallway dimensions without overwhelming narrow passages.

No. The 3W LED is integrated into the frame and not user-replaceable. The LED is covered by Maytoni's 3-year warranty, so LED failure within that period qualifies for replacement under guarantee.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Trame is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor location including covered porches.

Is it dimmable?

The product specification does not confirm dimmer compatibility. Most integrated LED wall lights of this type are not dimmable unless explicitly stated. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer switch to confirm compatibility.

How is it installed?

The Trame requires hardwired installation to mains 220-240V AC. A qualified electrician should connect the fitting to a wall-mounted junction box or existing wall light circuit. The mounting plate fixes to the wall with screws, and the geometric frame attaches to the plate.
