Description

The Knightsbridge track connector joins two single-circuit track sections in white polycarbonate with internal copper conductors. Measuring 181mm in length, it fits Knightsbridge TRKSPxx track systems and can function either as a mid-run joiner or as a central power feed point for track runs installed from a centre position outward.

Used in residential, retail and gallery installations where track lighting extends across wider wall or ceiling spans, the connector maintains electrical continuity while allowing track to be installed in manageable lengths. The 35mm width matches the TRKSPxx track profile, giving a clean inline connection without visible gaps. The IP20 rating suits internal dry locations including kitchens, living rooms, commercial showrooms and exhibition spaces.

The polycarbonate housing provides insulation around the copper conductors and resists impact better than metal alternatives during installation. At 18mm projection from the mounting surface, the connector sits flush with the track profile and does not protrude below the level of standard track spotlights. The white finish blends with white and light-toned ceilings, keeping the focus on the lighting rather than the infrastructure.

Frequently Asked

What track systems is this connector compatible with?

This connector is designed for Knightsbridge TRKSPxx single-circuit track systems. It will not fit other manufacturers' tracks or Knightsbridge's three-circuit track ranges.

Can it be used as a power feed point?

Yes. The connector can function as a mid-run joiner or as a central power feed, allowing track to be installed outward from a centre ceiling rose position rather than fed from one end.

What's the maximum track length it can support?

The connector itself does not limit track length. Total run length is determined by the load rating of the track system and the circuit supplying it. Refer to the TRKSPxx track specification for maximum continuous run guidance.

Does it require tools to fit?

Installation typically requires a screwdriver to secure the connector to the track sections. The connector clips or screws into the track channel depending on the specific TRKSPxx model being used.
