Description
The TP Strong LED is a weatherproof linear batten running 75W from a 220-240V AC supply, putting out 10000 lumens of 4000K cool white light at a steady 133 lm/W. Its wide 125 deg by 110 deg spread (written 125110 deg on the spec) washes light evenly across a working area rather than spotting it. American buyers will recognise this type as an LED shop light or wraparound fixture, the long sealed tube you mount above a bench or bay.
At 1500mm long and IP65 rated, this batten suits garages, workshops, car parks and damp utility rooms where dust and moisture rule out an open fitting. With 10000 lumens it covers around 33 m² at general lighting levels, enough to brighten a double garage or a small workshop from a single run. Mount it to the ceiling or wall over the zone you want lit, allowing for the fixed beam shape to throw light to the sides as well as straight down.
The body is moulded plastic in a white finish, sealed to IP65 against jets and washdown and rated IK08 for knock resistance. It is not dimmable and runs direct from mains voltage, so no separate driver or transformer is needed. The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours, and at 1.21kg it is light enough for straightforward single-fix installation. Wipe the lens clean with a damp cloth to keep the output up.

Frequently Asked
Where is this batten best used?
It is built for garages, workshops, car parks and damp utility spaces. The IP65 rating means it copes with dust and moisture, so it works in unheated and sheltered outdoor areas as well as indoor service rooms.
Is it suitable for wet and outdoor locations?
Yes. The IP65 rating makes it weatherproof against dust and water jets, so it can be fitted in exposed and wet locations as well as damp indoor sites. The sealed plastic body keeps the LEDs protected.
Can several be linked together in a run?
Battens of this type are commonly installed in rows to light a long bay or bench evenly. Each unit is wired to the mains supply, so plan the spacing around the 1500mm length and the wide beam to avoid dark gaps.
How do I keep it clean?
Switch off and wipe the sealed lens and body with a damp cloth, avoiding harsh solvents. Because the fitting is IP65 sealed, dust and grime sit on the surface rather than reaching the LEDs, so a regular wipe keeps the 10000 lumen output bright.
