Tosca 4 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Tosca is a 350mm flush ceiling light combining a polished chrome circular backplate, a ring of cut crystal prisms, and a frosted glass diffuser with a single hanging crystal sphere at the centre. Four G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the frosted glass drum, casting light through both the glass and the surrounding crystal prisms to create layered refraction across the chrome surface.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.5m where a traditional pendant drop would hang too low, the Tosca's 180mm projection from the ceiling suits bedrooms, hallways, landings and compact sitting rooms. The flush mount fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose without requiring additional suspension hardware. The frosted glass softens the direct glare from the four bulbs while the cut crystal prisms add decorative sparkle when the light is on and visual detail when off.

The polished chrome finish reflects both natural and artificial light, making the fitting appear brighter in daylight and magnifying the crystal sparkle in evening use. Each crystal prism is individually hung from the chrome frame on a wire loop, allowing slight movement in air currents. The central crystal sphere acts as a finial and a focal point, refracting light from the four bulbs outward through the prisms. At 2.4kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor.

What bulbs does it take?

The Tosca takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with LED G9 bulbs in the 3-5W range at 2700K-3000K for warm white light, or 4000K for cooler white in hallways.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all LED G9 bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb specification before purchasing if dimming is required.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 180mm projection makes the Tosca suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. It works particularly well in bedrooms, hallways and landings where a traditional pendant would hang too low or obstruct movement.

How is the fitting cleaned?

The chrome frame can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth. The crystal prisms and glass diffuser attract dust, so remove them carefully (after switching off at the mains) and wash in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid, then dry thoroughly before refitting.
