Description

The Toronto is a 260mm circular LED wall light consisting of two overlapping matt white discs — a flat backplate mounted flush to the wall and a raised front disc offset by 80mm — creating a halo of backlit illumination between them. The integrated 15W LED produces 1200 lumens at 3000K warm white, casting light both forward into the room and backwards onto the wall surface.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room feature walls and staircases where ambient wall-washing is needed without glare, the Toronto works as a single fitting over a console table or sideboard, or in multiples spaced 1.5-2m apart along corridor walls. The 80mm projection and 1.1kg weight suit solid plasterboard walls with standard UK back boxes. The matt white powder-coated aluminium finish pairs cleanly with white or pale-painted walls, creating a near-seamless appearance when the light is off.

The backlit halo effect comes from the gap between the two discs, with the front disc acting as a baffle to prevent direct view of the LED source. Light spills upwards, downwards and outwards from the perimeter, washing the wall behind and creating a soft glow rather than directed beam light. The non-dimmable 15W LED is rated for 25,000+ hours, meaning minimal maintenance over typical residential use. The matt white finish hides fingerprints and dust better than gloss white, and the powder coat can be wiped clean with a damp microfibre cloth.
