Description

The Toronto is a 220mm circular LED wall light with a matt white finish, built around an integrated 10W LED that produces 820 lumens at 3000K warm white. The fitting comprises a flat circular backplate and a raised front disc, creating a 75mm projection from the wall. Light escapes through the gap between the two discs, casting a backlit halo onto the wall surface around the fitting.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, landings and living rooms where ambient or accent lighting is needed without overhead fittings, the Toronto pairs wall wash lighting with a minimalist form. The 220mm diameter suits walls in narrower hallways and above bedside tables without overwhelming the space, while the 820-lumen output provides sufficient ambient light for a 3-4m hallway or a reading corner next to a chair. The matt white finish integrates cleanly with white or light-painted walls, and the low 75mm projection keeps the fitting out of shoulder height in circulation zones.

The LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains power, requiring a direct wire-in connection to a wall-mounted back box. Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. Connecting it to a dimmed circuit will result in flicker or failure to illuminate.

How is it installed?

The Toronto requires a direct wire-in connection to a wall-mounted back box. An electrician connects the mains cable to the fitting's internal terminal block, then fixes the circular backplate to the wall with the supplied screws. The raised front disc is then clipped or screwed onto the backplate to complete installation.

What light output does it provide?

The 10W LED produces 820 lumens at 3000K warm white. This is sufficient ambient light for a 3-4m hallway, a reading corner, or accent lighting in a bedroom. The light exits through the gap between the two discs, casting a backlit halo onto the surrounding wall rather than projecting a beam forward into the room.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty on the LED. The fitting is designed for a long service life and does not require bulb replacement.
