Description

The Torino is a 58cm-diameter 5-light crystal chandelier with a polished chrome scrolling frame dressed with Asfour cut crystal beads, droplets and maple leaf crystals. Five E14 candle-style lamp holders sit beneath pleated fabric shades (shown in image but sold separately under code IL30100), with the crystal strands arranged in octagonal cascades around each arm. The polished chrome finish reflects light back through the crystals, amplifying sparkle across walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Torino suits spaces where a decorative focal point is needed without overwhelming the room. The adjustable drop of 800-1750mm allows the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or positioned higher in an entrance hall or stairwell. The 58cm spread works in rooms of 12-18m² where a single central ceiling pendant provides both ambient and decorative light.

The chandelier frame is constructed from polished chrome-plated steel with scrolling arms that curve outward from a central column. Asfour crystals are strung on concealed wiring within the frame, creating the appearance of free-floating droplets. The total weight of 4.7kg requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting that load, and the chandelier canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses. Bulbs are sold separately — most users pair this with five 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a combined output of 20-30W.

The polished chrome finish shows fingerprints and will require occasional cleaning to maintain the mirror-like surface. Crystal droplets can be removed for cleaning or replaced if damaged. The shades shown in the product image (IL30100) are not included with this chandelier and must be purchased separately if required.

No. The pleated fabric shades shown in the product image are sold separately under Diyas code IL30100. The chandelier can be used with or without shades depending on the look required.

What bulbs does it take?

The Torino takes five E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are not included. Most users choose 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a combined output of 20-30W.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Individual crystal droplets can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water and a drop of washing-up liquid, then buffed dry. For deeper cleaning, droplets can be removed from the frame and washed in warm soapy water.
