Description

The Torino is an 18-light crystal chandelier built around a spiraling polished chrome frame measuring 1m in diameter. Eighteen E14 candle-style bulb holders sit on curved chrome arms, each surrounded by Asfour crystal droplets, maple-leaf shaped crystals, and octagon-cut crystal beads strung on chrome chains. The frame design positions the bulbs at three different heights, creating depth and multi-directional light reflection when lit.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, large dining rooms with 3.5m+ ceilings, and stairwell voids, the Torino requires substantial ceiling height to work properly. The minimum drop from ceiling rose to the bottom of the lowest crystal is 1080mm, but the chain can extend to 2960mm for rooms with higher ceilings. At 16.5kg the chandelier needs a ceiling joist or reinforced rose capable of carrying that load — standard plasterboard fixings will not suffice.

The polished chrome finish reflects both natural daylight and artificial light, amplifying the sparkle effect from the crystals. The Asfour crystals are optical-grade leaded glass cut in Austria, giving higher refraction than standard acrylic or molded glass substitutes. When paired with warm-white E14 bulbs (2700K-3000K, sold separately), the chandelier casts fractured light patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings. Bulbs are not included, allowing the buyer to choose LED, halogen or filament styles up to 60W per socket.

The chandelier arrives flat-packed and requires assembly on-site. Each crystal droplet clips onto the frame individually, and the chain length must be set during installation based on ceiling height. Diyas includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
