Description

The Torino is a 1m diameter 18-light crystal chandelier built around a French gold scrollwork frame with cascading Asfour crystal droplets, beaded crystal chains and octagonal crystal strands. Eighteen E14 candle-style bulbs (sold separately) sit within individual drip trays across two tiers of scrolling arms, with the crystal drops arranged to catch and refract light across the frame.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above, the Torino provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 1080mm minimum to 2960mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 1.5-2m above a dining table or lower into a stairwell void. The French gold finish is a warm antique brass tone rather than bright yellow gold, pairing well with warm wood tones, neutral walls and traditional or transitional interiors.

The Asfour crystal used across the Torino is optical K9 crystal cut in Egypt, offering better light dispersion than acrylic but at a lower cost than European lead crystal. The combination of maple leaf shaped droplets, faceted octagonal strands and round beaded chains creates layered texture when lit. At 16.5kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or structural support — standard plasterboard ceiling roses are not sufficient without additional bracing. The chandelier ships flat-packed and requires assembly on site, with each crystal drop and chain fitted individually to the frame.
