Description

The Tonil II is a slim indoor LED wall light that puts out 145 lumens at a warm 3000K from a 3.3W integrated LED. Its narrow 30 degree beam pushes a tight wash of light across the wall surface rather than filling a room, so it reads as an accent fitting in American terms a directional wall sconce for grazing texture. The body measures 370 x 51 x 121 mm and stays close to the wall, drawing little attention when the light is off. With a CRI of Ra 80 the warm tone holds colours steadily on plaster, stone or panelling.

Because the beam is narrow and the output modest, this fitting suits accent and atmosphere work rather than general room lighting. It is well placed in a hallway, on a landing, beside a stairwell or framing a feature wall, where the 30 degree throw draws a defined band of light up or along the surface. No, the LED is integrated into the fitting and is not a separate bulb. It draws 3.3W and is rated for around 20,000 hours of use, so there is nothing to change over its working life. When it eventually reaches end of life the whole fitting is replaced.
