The Tonic is a 98mm cylindrical glass pendant light with a copper metallic finish on the outer glass shell and a matt black ceiling canopy. An integrated GX53 LED inside the glass cylinder casts 4000K cool white light downwards, with the copper-toned glass diffusing the beam and adding a warm metallic accent to the light output. The pendant is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmer switch.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Tonic works as a single fitting over a breakfast bar or side table, or in multiples of two or three over a kitchen island or dining table. The 2000mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to sit 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining surface depending on ceiling height. The 98mm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough for narrow hallways or corner positions without dominating the space.

The copper metallic finish on the glass adds warmth to the 4000K LED output, which would otherwise read as a neutral white. This makes the Tonic suitable for contemporary interiors that pair cool greys and blacks with warm metallic accents. The matt black canopy conceals the ceiling rose and the cable, and the compact 1.05kg weight allows the fitting to be installed on standard UK ceiling roses without additional support.

Is the Tonic dimmable?

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation. For a kitchen island or dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Tonic if the cable is shortened during fitting.

What colour temperature does the LED produce?

The integrated LED is rated at 4000K, which is a cool white tone. The copper metallic finish on the glass warms the light output slightly, reducing the perceived coolness of the 4000K LED.

Can multiple Tonic pendants be installed over a kitchen island?

Yes. The compact 98mm diameter and 1.05kg weight make the Tonic suitable for multi-drop installations. Two or three pendants can be spaced evenly over a kitchen island or dining table, with each pendant wired to a separate ceiling rose or grouped on a multi-outlet ceiling plate.
