The Tonic is a 98mm diameter single-light pendant with a cylindrical chrome-plated glass shade suspended on a black cable from a matt black ceiling canopy. The GX53 fitting inside the cylinder houses a dimmable LED lamp (included), producing 4000K cool white light that reflects off the chrome-plated interior and projects downward through the open base of the cylinder.

Designed for task and accent lighting in kitchens, bathrooms, home offices and contemporary hallways, the Tonic works well as a single pendant over a breakfast bar or desk, or in multiples over a kitchen island or dining table. The 480-2000mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set between 400-600mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining surface depending on ceiling height. The compact 98mm diameter keeps the visual footprint small while the chrome finish reflects surrounding light to maintain brightness in the space.

The chrome-plated glass cylinder acts as both shade and reflector, directing the LED output downward while bouncing some light back up through the transparent top of the cylinder. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white that suits task-focused environments without the warmth of 3000K or the clinical tone of daylight bulbs. Yes. The Tonic includes a GX53 dimmable LED lamp rated at 12W and 4000K cool white. The GX53 is a twist-lock fitting, so replacement lamps can be changed by twisting the lamp anti-clockwise to release it from the socket.

What dimmer is needed?

The GX53 LED lamp is dimmable but requires a compatible dimmer switch. Most modern leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers work with LED loads, but confirm the dimmer is rated for LED before pairing it with this pendant to avoid flicker or buzzing.

Can multiple Tonic pendants be hung together?

Yes. The compact 98mm diameter makes the Tonic suitable for multi-drop installations over kitchen islands or dining tables. Space pendants 300-400mm apart for balanced coverage without overlapping light pools.
