The Tonic is a 98mm diameter glass pendant light with a polished copper cylindrical body and an integrated 12W LED producing 3000K warm white light. The slim profile and high-gloss copper finish create a compact decorative accent that works as a single statement piece or in grouped configurations of three, five or seven pendants over kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters.

Designed for residential and hospitality interiors, the Tonic suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where the 2000mm suspension cable can be adjusted during installation to position the pendant 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining surface. The GX53 lamp holder houses the dimmable LED, which requires a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer depending on the specific driver specification. The glass body diffuses the warm white light while the copper casing reflects additional highlights onto surrounding surfaces.

The polished copper finish develops a natural patina over time unless regularly polished, giving the pendant a warmer, deeper tone as it ages. The 98mm diameter keeps the pendant visually light when hung in multiples, while the 830g weight provides stability on the suspension cable without requiring additional ceiling reinforcement on standard plasterboard ceilings. Can the copper be kept polished or will it tarnish?

The polished copper finish will develop a natural patina over time through exposure to air and humidity. This darkens the tone slightly and adds depth to the finish. If you prefer to maintain the high-gloss copper appearance, the surface can be polished periodically with a copper-specific polish and a soft cloth.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm suspension cable is adjustable on installation. For dining tables and kitchen islands, the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings may require shortening the cable during fitting.

Can multiple Tonic pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The slim 98mm diameter makes the Tonic well suited to grouped configurations. Three, five or seven pendants can be spaced evenly along a kitchen island or dining table to create layered task and ambient lighting without visual clutter.
