Description

The Tonic is a 98mm glass pendant light with a bronze-finished metal rim and canopy, housing an integrated 12W 3000K LED behind a clear glass lens. The light projects downward through the lens while the bronze edge catches and reflects ambient light in the room. The 2m cable drop is adjustable on installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m.

Designed for bedside pendants, kitchen island task lighting, or grouped in multiples over a dining table, the Tonic provides focused downlight without a large shade footprint. The compact 98mm diameter keeps the fitting discreet when viewed from below, while the bronze finish adds warmth to both modern and transitional interiors. The dimmable LED requires a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer on the circuit to adjust brightness.

The bronze finish shows a warm metallic tone between copper and brass, with a satin surface that softens reflections under daylight. The GX53 socket holds the lamp, which delivers 12W output at 3000K warm white. The clear glass lens protects the LED while allowing maximum light transmission. At 830g, the fitting is light enough to hang from standard ceiling roses without additional reinforcement.

Because the LED is integrated behind the lens, there is no separate bulb to replace, and the fitting arrives ready to wire. The 100-240V supply at 50/60Hz suits UK mains without a driver box, and the single GX53 module keeps the internal parts compact. Spacing multiples between 400 and 600mm gives even coverage over a longer surface while keeping each pool of light readable. The 2m cable can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the height you need, and a one-year warranty covers the fitting.

Is the Tonic dimmable?

Yes, the LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch. Not all dimmers work with all LED modules. Check dimmer compatibility before installation or contact us for advice.

Can the cable drop be adjusted?

The 2m cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be shortened to suit lower ceiling heights or positioned at a specific height above a worktop or table. Once trimmed and wired, the cable cannot be lengthened again.

What spacing is recommended for multiple pendants?

For a kitchen island or dining table, space multiple Tonic pendants 400-600mm apart centre-to-centre. The 98mm diameter keeps each fitting compact, so closer spacing works without visual clutter.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED module uses a GX53 socket. If the module fails, a replacement GX53 LED can be fitted, these are available separately and twist-lock into the socket.
