Description

The Tonic is a 98mm diameter glass pendant light built around a polished chrome cylinder suspended on a black fabric cable from a matt black circular canopy. The GX53 lampholder sits recessed inside the cylinder, directing 2700K warm white LED light downward through the clear glass base while the chrome walls reflect and diffuse the light outward through the transparent sides.

Designed for kitchen worktops, breakfast bars, bedside positions and hallway task lighting, the Tonic works as a single pendant or in linear groupings of three or five across an island or dining table. The minimum drop of 480mm suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, and the cable is adjustable up to 2000mm maximum drop for installations in double-height spaces or over stairwells. The pendant fits standard UK ceiling roses and the black canopy conceals the cable entry point.

The polished chrome finish on the cylinder creates a reflective surface that amplifies the LED output and adds visual brightness to the fitting even when switched off. The matt black canopy and cable provide tonal contrast against the chrome without creating hard visual edges. The GX53 fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, allowing the output to be reduced for evening ambient lighting or increased for task work. The compact 98mm diameter keeps the fitting unobtrusive in tighter spaces while the 1.05kg weight gives the pendant enough presence to register in the room without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings.
