Tonic 8 Light LED Cluster Pendant - Chrome, Bronze & Copper

The Tonic is an 8-light cluster pendant from Mantra, suspending eight cylindrical GX53 LED fittings in mixed chrome, bronze and copper finishes from a 410mm matt black circular canopy. Each pendant hangs on an independently adjustable cable, allowing installation heights between 480mm and 2000mm drop to suit ceiling height and room function. The GX53 lamps emit 2700K warm white light and are dimmable with a suitable trailing-edge dimmer.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Tonic clusters light sources in a multi-drop configuration rather than using a single central pendant. The mixed metallic finishes create visual interest without requiring identical symmetry, and the warm colour temperature suits residential dining and hospitality settings where warmer tones reduce glare and create a more relaxed atmosphere. The 410mm canopy diameter spreads the cable exit points across a broad footprint, preventing the cables from bunching together when viewed from below.

Each GX53 fitting houses a LED lamp (included) behind a clear acrylic diffuser that softens the light output and reduces visible LED points. The mixed chrome, bronze and copper finishes interact differently with ambient light throughout the day, with the warmer copper and bronze absorbing more light than the reflective chrome. The matt black canopy recedes visually against most ceiling colours, allowing the metallic pendant bodies to dominate the composition. At 7kg total weight, the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

Are the GX53 lamps included?

Yes. The Tonic is supplied with eight GX53 LED lamps rated at 2700K warm white. Replacement GX53 lamps are available separately if needed in future.

Can the pendant heights be adjusted independently?

Yes. Each of the eight cables is independently adjustable between 480mm and 2000mm drop during installation, allowing you to create a staggered cluster effect or keep all eight pendants at the same height.

What dimmer type is required?

A trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer is recommended for smooth dimming performance with the included GX53 LED lamps. Standard leading-edge dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may cause flickering or limited dimming range.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum 480mm drop plus the pendant body length means this fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For dining tables, position the lowest pendants 700-800mm above the table surface to avoid blocking sightlines across the table.
