Description

The Tonic is a 720mm bar pendant from Mantra suspending three brushed bronze glass cylinders on chrome stems from a matt black canopy. Each pendant houses a GX53 LED fitting (bulbs included) emitting 2700K warm white light that passes through the tinted bronze glass, casting warm tonal light downward and diffused accent light through the translucent sides.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the 720mm bar positions the three pendants evenly spaced to provide task lighting across a linear surface. The drop is adjustable between 480mm minimum and 2000mm maximum, allowing the fitting to be set at the appropriate height for ceiling clearance and table position. Each pendant measures 100mm diameter, giving a proportional visual weight without dominating the space below. The dimmable GX53 bulbs allow adjustment from full output for meal preparation down to ambient background light for dining.

The brushed bronze glass has a translucent metallic tint that hides the internal bulb housing while allowing warm light to radiate through. The chrome stems and matt black canopy provide contrasting finishes that work with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary schemes. The entire fitting weighs 3.1kg across the three pendants and canopy, requiring secure ceiling fixing to a joist or noggin rather than plasterboard alone.
