The Tonic is a 720mm 3-light LED bar pendant with three cylindrical copper-toned glass shades suspended from a matt black linear canopy. Each shade houses a GX53 LED lamp (included), emitting 2700K warm white light through the copper-tinted glass, which softens and warms the output further as it passes through the coloured material.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters between 1.8-2.4m long, the Tonic provides focused task lighting distributed across three points rather than a single central source. The 100mm width of the canopy keeps the visual footprint narrow, while the 720mm overall length ensures even coverage across a typical island worktop. The drop is adjustable between 480mm minimum and 2000mm maximum, allowing installation in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m to 4m or higher.

The copper glass finish delivers a mid-tone metallic appearance under daylight and a warmer amber glow when lit, making it compatible with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors. The matt black canopy and cable runs provide contrast and prevent the fitting from reading as too warm or too traditional. The integrated LED lamps are dimmable when paired with a suitable mains dimmer switch, though dimmer compatibility should be confirmed before purchase as performance varies between dimmer models.

The GX53 lamp format is a low-profile disc-shaped LED commonly used in European pendant and surface fittings. If a lamp fails, replacement GX53 LEDs are available separately. The 3.1kg total weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load.

Is the Tonic dimmable?

What length table or island does it suit?

The 720mm canopy length works best over kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.8m and 2.4m long. For shorter tables the three lights may feel over-distributed; for longer islands consider two Tonic fittings installed end-to-end or a longer bar pendant model.

Are the GX53 lamps replaceable?

Yes. The GX53 lamps are included with the fitting and can be replaced if they fail. Replacement GX53 LEDs in 2700K are available separately from Niori and other suppliers.

What drop height is recommended?

For a kitchen island or worktop, hang the shades 650-800mm above the surface. For a dining table, 700-900mm above the table provides comfortable light without obstructing sightlines across the table. Adjust within the 480-2000mm cable range during installation to suit your ceiling height.
