Description

The Tonic is a 720mm bar pendant suspending three cylindrical polished chrome shades from a matt black linear canopy, each housing a dimmable GX53 LED at 3000K warm white. The three pendants hang evenly spaced along the bar on adjustable black cables, with drop length adjustable between 480mm and 2000mm during installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars between 1.8-2.4m long, the Tonic provides task and ambient light across a linear surface. The 720mm bar length allows the three pendants to be positioned where light is needed most, with typical installation seeing the bar mounted 600-800mm above the table surface. The reflective chrome finish on each cylinder directs light downward while bouncing it off the internal surface, creating both focused illumination and a subtle upward glow.

The matt black bar and canopy provide visual weight at the ceiling, anchoring the three chrome pendants and creating contrast against white or light-coloured ceilings. The polished chrome cylinder finish pairs with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary interiors, and the 3000K colour temperature sits in the middle of the warm white spectrum, warmer than office lighting, cooler than traditional incandescent. The dimmable GX53 LEDs integrate into each pendant without visible bulbs or sockets protruding below the chrome cylinder, giving a clean lower edge.

At 3.1kg the fitting requires a ceiling point rated to hold its weight, and the 480mm to 2000mm drop range lets the bar be set at the right height for tables or islands between 1.8-2.4m. The 3000K output stays warm without drifting toward the cooler office range.
